How does residential laundry pickup and delivery work?
Schedule your pickup day online, bag all of your laundry (for first time customers trash bags work great), place on your doorstep or place of your choosing, then enjoy your FREE TIME! Your laundry will be picked up by our BubbleShine van. Our team will wash, dry & fold your laundry (or hang some items), then deliver it back to you in our BubbleShine Laundry reusable ECO2GO laundry bag(s) drawer and/or closet ready. You can then reuse your BubbleShine Laundry bags for future orders.
How can I expect my laundry to be returned to me?
Your laundry will be washed, dried & folded, and then placed into plastic protective bags. Items such as dress slacks, dresses, blouses and hoodies will be hung and placed inside a protective plastic garment bag. Our team will make every effort to separate the folded laundry into adults, kids, male & female to make if effortless to put away. The plastic bags will then be placed together in a BubbleShine Laundry bag that can be used for dirty laundry on future orders. Hung items will be delivered in a protective plastic garment bag and be placed on a door hanger (if provided) or laid across your laundry bag.
Where is my laundry washed, dried & folded?
Our team processes all laundry at our Centerville, OH facility. We are solely a laundry pickup & delivery service at this time, so our laundry facility is not open to self-serve customers.

How do I schedule an order online?
It’s simple! Go to www.bubbleshinelaundry.com and click on the “Schedule a Pickup” button from your phone or computer.
When I schedule on order online, how will I be billed?
When your order is completed, we will bill your credit card and email you an invoice.
What happens if my credit card expires or declines?
Your credit card is charged once your order is complete. If the credit card is declined (expired, account closed, insufficient funds, etc.), your order does not get moved to the delivery phase. You can update your payment info by accessing your account or calling us. Once your payment has been received, your order will be delivered by the next day.
How do I change my billing?
To update your credit card, log into your account, under billing information select "Update Credit Card Information" and enter your new credit card information.
Can I make a special request on how I want my laundry done?
Of course! During the account setup process, you will be able to add your personal preferences and specific instructions that will be followed for each and every order. There is a $45 minimum for each order.
Can I change my wash, dry & fold preferences?
Yes, you can log into your online account and change your preferences as often as you like.
What is the turnaround time?
We offer next day turnaround. Currently, our pickup and delivery window is from 8:00AM - 7:00PM. If needing to deliver outside that window, we'll communicate with you directly.
If providing us an order over 60 lbs. we can't guarantee next day, but we'll communicate with you regarding any change to delivery. Additionally, if orders have an excessive amount of toddler clothing (which takes much longer to fold), we may ask for additional time to return.
How am I updated throughout the pick-up & delivery process?
You will receive texts and emails to keep you informed on order confirmation, pick-up & delivery.
Is there any contract or long-term commitment?
None whatsoever. You can cancel or suspend your account at any time. If you have signed up for recurring, please let us know if you are going on vacation and need to temporarily pause your service.
Is there a delivery charge?
No
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes. There is a minimum charge of $45. Our BubbleShine Laundry bag (when full of dirty laundry) will typically come in around 25lbs, so meeting the minimum threshold should be no problem. For first time customers, a 13 gal. kitchen bag full of laundry will typically weigh about 15 lbs., so at least two 13 gal. kitchen bags will easily meet the minimum order of $45.
Even if just having one specialty item that needs laundered (e.g., comforter, sleeping bag, horse blanket, etc.), a $45 minimum must still be met. For example, a King Comforter is only $35, so to meet the minimum we recommend adding an additional specialty item or at least 5 lbs. of clothing to bring the minimum to at least $45.
Unfortunately we must stick to this minimum as we must cover costs on our end to bring you the convenience of pickup and delivery.
Can I share an account with my roommate?
You are allowed to do so, but then your clothing will be mixed together. If you each have a separate account, but choose to have your pickup and delivery days on the same day, at the same time, we will combine the two orders together to give you the minimum order of $45.
What if I have large bedding or specialty items? Are they charged by the pound?
Large items such as comforters and pillows are charged by the piece. You can find the prices on our pricing page. The minimum charge for pick-up & delivery on any order is $45, so if you have a specialty item that is below that cost, we recommend adding an additional specialty item or general laundry that is charged by the pound to meet the minimum threshold.
What is your pickup & delivery window?
Our standard pickup and delivery window is from 8:00AM - 7:00PM, Our stated delivery promise is next day, but we'll communicate with you directly if we anticipate pickup or delivery beyond 7:00PM. Our operations are currently 7 days a week. Should there be an unforeseen delay due to weather, traffic, etc., we’ll also communicate with you directly to give you an updated ETA. If you require a special accommodation for pickup and/or delivery, please just let us know and we'll work with you to ensure a seamless experience.
What is your pickup & delivery schedule?
Our pick-up & delivery schedule runs 7 days a week with a pick-up & delivery window from 8:00AM – 7:00PM. For example, if booking on a Monday, the first available pick-up would be for Tuesday, and laundry would be returned on Wednesday. For ultimate convenience, you can set up a recurring pick-up & delivery if you have a day of the week that is most preferred.
Pick-up & delivery will not be available on major holidays or in weather related road conditions that could compromise the safety of our drivers. We’ll communicate any unforeseen delays and/or needed changes to the schedule with you directly.
What if a date for pickup or delivery is not listed as available?
If a date is not listed, that simply means that date falls on a holiday where we do not have operations or we're at full capacity for bookings that day.
What if a holiday falls on my recurring pickup or delivery day?
If your regular recurring service happens to fall on a holiday or an occasion that we're closed, we'll communicate with you directly to see if you would simply like to skip that pickup or reschedule to another day that week..
Do I have to be home when you pick-up or deliver my laundry?
Absolutely not! Our aim is to make pick-up & delivery as convenient as possible. Please just provide clear instructions indicating where we can find your clothes and where to drop them off. Most customers choose the front porch, the back porch, in an unlocked garage, with an apartment manager, etc. If your building requires a code to enter, please inform us at the time of placing the order.
Can you do pick-up and delivery to my place of work?
Absolutely. We can pick-up and drop off your clothes at any address in our service area.
How much is your pickup & delivery wash, dry & fold laundry service?
Free pick-up & delivery with next day service is $2.05 per lb. for "as needed" service. $1.95 per lb. for recurring service (weekly or bi-weekly). There is a $45 minimum charge on any order.

What should I put my dirty laundry in?
For first time customers, simply place all of your dirty laundry in a large bag (trash bags work great). Then we will take it from there! Our driver will label your laundry and transfer it to a durable BubbleShine Laundry bag to reduce the risk of lost laundry as our bags have a locking mechanism to ensure your laundry remains together. Your clean laundry will be returned folded, conveniently sorted and placed in a ECO2GO BubbleShine Laundry bag that will be yours FREE of charge, and then can be used to compile your dirty laundry on future orders.
You can also select to purchase one of our BubbleShine Laundry Black Tote Bags to utilize for your subsequent pickups. These can be selected and purchased for $14.99.
Can I send my own hangers?
Absolutely! We will ensure your hanging items are returned back to you on your own hangers! Simply place your hangers in a separate bag next to your laundry and we’ll be happy to take them. If personal hangers are not sent in, BubbleShine Laundry will provide wire hangers at NO additional cost.
What can I expect for my first laundry service?
On the day of your scheduled pick-up, a BubbleShine driver will arrive sometime in the allotted window of time. You can have your items ready in a bag(s) of your choice (garbage bags work great!)
Please separate any stained items or items that need special care. Due to the volume of laundry, we are not able to read individual label washing instructions.
Make sure to double check your pockets! BubbleShine Laundry is NOT responsible for items lost in the wash or damaged by things left in pockets (chapstick, crayons, markers, pens, lipstick, gum, etc.)
From there, your laundry will be out of your hands! Sit back, relax and enjoy your free time!
Next day, your driver will deliver everything back to you during your confirmed delivery time. A text/email will be sent when your clothes are enroute, and again once your delivery has been made. We also include a confirmation photo with your delivery as an added security feature.
Will my clothes be washed with other people’s clothes?
NEVER! Our operating procedures ensure that your laundry will never be mixed with other people’s clothes.
Does BubbleShine Laundry check pockets?
No. BubbleShine is not responsible for anything left in pockets prior to washing and/or damage to any clothing from items left in pockets (e.g., chapstick, crayons, markers, pens, lipstick, gum, etc.)
Does BubbleShine Laundry read label instructions?
No. Due to the volume of laundry, we are unable to read labels on clothing. However, please feel free to contact us with any questions or special requests on particular items.
Do you match socks?
Absolutely! Our goal is to make it convenient by making your laundry completely drawer-ready. Our sock process will not only match socks, but we'll clip them to ensure they stay together (up to 20 pairs). Our sock process is a fan favorite according to many customers!
If more than 20 pairs of socks, we'll match them and place secure strap around them. Baby/Toddler socks will also be matched with a secure strap placed around them.
Can you do stain removal?
Of course! We can do light stain removal. Please place all stained clothing in a separate bag and let us know by including a note in the bag or on your laundry profile and we’ll do our best to get it out. It is very useful to know the exact source of each stain, since the best treatment will vary by the type of stain and the fabric type. While we’re usually successful at removing stains, we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to get it out. If you can pretreat the stains before putting the garment in the bag, it will increase the odds of success. There is a $2 charge per item for stain removal.
How do I give you special instructions?
Special instructions can be given when booking your order online. However, if you need to provide additional clarification, feel free to call/text us at (937) 613-8286.
Can I send undergarments?
Of course, it’s laundry! Let us take ALL your laundry off your hands!
Clients that prefer to keep their undergarments private may send them inside a mesh bag. We will wash, dry & return undergarments unfolded in your mesh bag.
How are my clothes washed & dried?
We wash your laundry based on your preference/selections that you submitted when placing your order.
If no laundering selections are made, our default wash is on a cold cycle with Molly's Suds Lavender detergent, and then dried on medium heat with scented dryer sheets.
What happens when I request Air-Dry?
We are happy to air dry for a charge of $1 per item. We simply ask that when setting out laundry, place items that need air dry in a separate bag with a note so we know which items to air dry.
Where will my laundry be delivered?
Your laundry will be delivered to your doorstep if no additional instructions are left for the driver. Should there be inclement weather and you do not have a porch cover, we will place your laundry bags and hung items inside a protective plastic covering to provide additional protection from the elements. If weather is too bad, we'll wait for weather to clear and communicate with you on a new delivery time. Our priority is to deliver back a great product!
I forgot to set out my laundry for my scheduled pickup, now what?
Hey, we get it! These things happen. We send email and text reminders to help make sure you don’t forget, but life can sometimes get in the way.
To compensate your driver’s time, there will be a missed pickup fee assessed (please see FAQ on missed pickup fees). To reschedule a pickup, simply log into your account and schedule a new pickup and delivery.
If it's easier, you can always call/text us and we can re-book the pickup for you.
What will be returned on hangers?
It's our practice to hang collared shirts, button up shirts, dresses, hooded sweatshirts, blouses, sweaters and slacks/dress pants. We can however hang anything you'd like per your preference.
If you’d like us to use your hangers, no problem! Just include them with your laundry!
Do you offer dry cleaning services?
We do not offer dry cleaning services at this time.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes. There is a $45 minimum charge on all orders. At $1.95 per lb. for recurring customers, meeting the minimum threshold is quite easy. One bag of laundry will typically weight around 25 lbs., so there is no problem meeting the minimum. The only time there may be an issue not meeting the minimum charge is with some specialty items that are priced below the $45 minimum. In that case, please include laundry and/or additional specialty items that will meet the minimum threshold.
What if I'm a recurring customer that needs to skip. Can I maintain the reduced pricing for recurring customers?
We get that things come up that may require you to skip your recurring day. No problem! You'll still continue to enjoy the reduced pricing for recurring customers.
If however a recurring customer habitually cancels and does not maintain at least two pickups per month, we'll unfortunately need to remove them from their recurring schedule and no longer be able to extend reduced pricing. They will be required to book as needed and be charged "As Needed" pricing.
What is your missed pickup fee?
Our promise to our customers is next day delivery, so we run on a tight schedule to meet our commitments. Additionally, after we reach capacity bookings for a given day, new customer orders are prevented until the following day. Therefore, missed pickups are a sunken cost to us, and we could have allowed another customer to book that day.
To minimize missed pickups, we must enforce the following missed pickup fees: 1st Missed Pickup - $10, 2nd Missed Pickup - $25, 3rd Missed Pickup & Beyond - $45 Min. Order Fee.
If needing to cancel, simply text SKIP to your text reminder the evening prior. You can also shoot us a text at (937) 613-8286 and letting us know and we're happy to cancel the pickup for you.
Do I need to weigh my laundry before BubbleShine Laundry picks up?
No. We will weigh your laundry at our facility with our Trade Certified Scale that drops the weight of laundry directly into our software.
What is the cleaning process for my order?
Our standard wash is in cold water and dried with medium heat. Items are then folded and logically placed together in plastic bags for easy put away once delivered. Items such as dress slacks, dresses, blouses and hoodies will be hung on wire and/or strut hangers unless hangers are provided in a separate bag at pickup.
Can you steam items of clothing?
Yes! Please let us know in your preferences if you would like us to steam certain items after drying. There is a $4 steaming charge per item.
Are there additional costs for large/specialty items?
Yes. Please refer to our price list. If you have an item that is not listed, please don’t hesitate to contact us via call/text at (937) 613-8286 and we may be able to accommodate.
Are there items that BubbleShine Laundry doesn’t clean?
At this time, there are a handful of items that we cannot accept for cleaning due to the nature of the item or the risk they may pose to our team. We cannot accept the following items for cleaning:
CERTAIN NON-CLEANING ITEMS: These specific non-clothing items often require a specialized cleaning process that we are not equipped to provide as clothing care experts:
- Some pillows
- Curtains
- Commercial Linens
- Sofa covers
- Some rugs
CONTAMINATED ITEMS: We cannot accept items that may pose a risk to the safety of our team and/or the items of other customers cleaned in the same facility. These include items that have been contaminated with:
- Bodily fluids from a human or pet
- Excessive pet hair
- Tar
- Moisture if the item is still wet or damp
- Mildew
- Bedbugs
- Poison ivy or poison oak oils
- Hazardous chemical residue
SPECIALTY CARE CLOTHING/ACCESSORY ITEMS: These clothing items require specialty care that falls outside of our area of expertise:
- Wedding dresses
- Vintage clothes (in some cases)
- Costumes
- Hats/Headwear
- Shoes
- Fur & Animal products (feathers, fur coats)
- Purses/handbags
Do you iron?
No. We do not offer ironing services
What is an average weekly laundry order?
The average weekly order varies greatly due to family size. We can say however that the AVERAGE order is roughly 40lbs. So where a family of 5 could send in 80 lbs. for the week, a single young professional may have 20 lbs. for the week.
We will weigh your order with our Trade Certified Scale once we receive your order and you will be emailed a detailed receipt upon order completion.
Do you offer gift cards?
YES!! You can give the GIFT OF TIME to a loved one by purchasing a gift card on our homepage. Amounts from $50 - $200 are available for purchase.
Once purchased, we will be notified and then communicate with the recipient directly on how to redeem and answer any questions they may have.
How do I cancel my laundry pickup & delivery service?
While we hate to see you go, you can log into your account and cancel recurring service at any time.
Is BubbleShine Laundry a franchise?
No. We are a family/veteran owned & operated small business. However, franchising and/or licensing is in our future plans. More details to come.
